High Frequency Phrases
Phrases are briefs that consist of two or more words. For the most part, the opening part of the phrase is written with the left hand while the ending part of the phrase is written with the right hand.
Think of briefing phrases as two hands, two words or two hands, two sounds, even when the phrase is more than two words.
For words that are commonly used to create briefs for phrases, it's pretty common to have a left hand and right hand brief for those words in order to create phrases that both start and end with those words.
Example: The brief for "were" is WR- on the left and -RP on the right. The brief for "were the" is WR-T and the brief for "they were" is THE-RP.
