Ready for more steno adventures?  Here we focus on learning the rest of the keyboard, start learning punctuation and function key strokes, how to use Plover's dictionary, briefs and phrases, building your own briefs, dig deeper into writing by sound (digraphs, diphthongs), prefixes, suffixes, homophones, word boundaries and more.

By the end of this course, you will have a thorough knowledge of Plover's steno theory, be comfortable writing on the steno keyboard, using steno for many common text entry purposes (writing emails, chatting) and using steno for more complex writing tasks although still looking some words up.

How fast will you be writing?  I don't know, that's up to you!  Having said that, 60-80wpm with some peaks of 100wpm is a reasonable expectation.  You will still be slowed down by hesitation at times but that will continue to lessen over time.  Our focus in this course is on building accuracy, since the more accurate you are, the faster you'll be!

While laid out in a structured manner designed to guide you from the basics through intermediate usage building up to advanced steno, feel free to "bounce around" the various sections and activities and use them in any order you wish especially if you find yourself struggling to grok something.
